Maxxis Minion DH Rear is a downhill tire especially suitable for the rear wheel. Like the DHF, the DHR uses sloping lugs, but the grooves in them are designed for better braking and acceleration. Depending on the track conditions, DHR can be used at the front and rear or at the rear in combination with DHF.
- Super Tacky - a special compound for high traction and slow bouncing
- Butyl - an additional layer of butyl rubber is added around the bead, increasing protection against puncture of the tube and protection of the rim againsthard shocks
