Knog Scout is a GPS locator and bicycle security alarm. It allows you to track where the bike is, even when it is not in motion.

The attachment is discreet and secure under any bottle cage using the supplied security screws. The device is charged via USB-C and will last approximately 6 months in normal use. Cyclists canenable/disable motion-sensitive alarm, locate device and check battery life through Knog app.
The Scout locator and alarm works via bluetooth connection with an Apple smartphone. Thanks to the connected network of iPhone phones using bluetooth, a bike with an attached Scout can be found whenever an Apple iPhone or iPad device is nearby. There are no additional monthly fees for operation. After purchase, just charge the device and it can be used. A version for the platform is being prepared for the next seasonAndroid.
With Scout, you can choose between overt and discreet security. To advertise that your bike is Scout equipped, simply use the supplied neon yellow silicone cover. For more discreet security, attach the Scout to your bike using bottle cage mounts using tamper-proof security screws without a cover.
The extremely low profile and compact design of the Scout system allows it to be elegantly bolted on and hidden under the bottle basket. This is a great way tokeep the Scout hidden for even more discretion.
Turning the Scout alarm on or off is simple and can be done in two ways: using the button on the side of the device when the connected iPhone is in close proximity (<1.5m), or using the Knog app when the device is in Bluetooth range. When the Scout's battery needs charging, there's no need to take the device off the bike, it can simply be recharged using a USB-C cable via the Scout's charging port located under the waterproof silicone cap. Charging time is approx. 3 hours.
Scout isequipped with dual function LEDs that show at a glance whether the Scout is active. The same LEDs also display the battery charge status. The Scout has an IP66 waterproof rating, which means it can be left in the rain, used in the rain, and can be washed down with a stream of water without affecting its functionality.
Up to 10 Scouts or similar devices can be connected in the application.
