MIPS Spherical technology works on the principle of a hinge, the helmet shell consists of two parts (hemispheres) that slide over each other like a hinge. The outer shell can rotate around the inner shell in the event of an impactshells, thereby reducing the forces that would otherwise act directly on the brain.
