The MIPS Spherical technology works on the principle of a joint, the shell of the helmet consists of two parts (hemispheres), which slide one after the other just like a joint. The outer shell can rotate around the inner one in the event of an impactshells, thereby reducing forces that would otherwise act directly on the brain.
