The Giant Talon 1 is a modern hardtail for riders who want a bike for their first real off-road ride. It's perfect for forest roads, dirt roads, and light to medium-technical trails at the trail center, where you'll appreciate confidence, comfort, and easy handling.
The basis is a completely new ALUXX aluminum frame with more modern geometry and lower weight. The frame is optimized for 29” wheels, so the bike feels more stable, better overcomes bumps and has very good traction in turns and when braking. There is also a 12x142 mm rear thru axle,Tapered head tube and internal cable routing including preparation for a telescopic seatpost.
A 100mm travel suspension fork with a 15x110mm thru-axle will help you on the trail. For a safer and more enjoyable ride on technical sections, the bike is designed to take full advantage of the telescopic seatpost, wider handlebars and 2.4" tires. You can brake with confidence thanks to hydraulic disc brakes.
