Giant Defy Advanced offers a high level of comfort, even at very long distances or on broken roads. Surprisingly, however, it also raises speeds and stiffness in sprints. Compared to the TCR, it offers a more comfortable endurance, has a shorter top frame tube, a slightly extended wheelbase and a slightly raised head tube. Higher comfort is also provided by the very thin and flat saddle struts on the rear structure and the D-Fuse carbon fiber saddle that dampens bettervibration. Disc brakes provide greater efficiency and better braking force than rim brakes, even on wet surfaces. On the front and rear wheels, you can find 12 mm fixed axes for higher rigidity. The eye of the esthete is pleased with the details such as the bowden guidance through the inside or the integrated seat-post sleeve in the frame.
