Leatt Adventure Body Protector is specially designed body protector for use with the Leatt Brace neck protector. The development protectors participated Cyril Despres and tested it in the challenging conditions the Dakar Rally. Protector can also be used as a regular protector without the Leatt Brace neck protector. Ideal for downhill, BMX, motocross, enduro, quad or ski and snowboard. Very Comfortable pads restrictive movement. Keeping the back and chest. Front and rear removable plastic parts allow you to set the Leatt Brace sat as close to the body and thus performs the best. A special fastening system"BraceOn" mounting pads on the Leatt Brace vest without the need for straps. The weekend after his son start’s riding, Dr Chris Leatt witnesses the death of fellow rider, Alan Selby. He’s moved to begin designing his first neck brace prototypes.
2004
Dr. Leatt sold the first Leatt-Brace® in South Africa.
2006
At EICMA, BMW documents the Leatt-Brace®.
Later that year, the brace finally makes it to market.
Dr. Leatt & Andreas Geisinger introduced the product at the 6th International Motorcycle Conference in Cologne, Germany.
