1. The wide opening prevents clogging of the sealing material and ensures greater air flow. The open cross section is larger than with a conventional valve head. The mounting direction of the valve head hole is aligned with one of the rim edges, because in this way the sealant is pushed out of the rim by centrifugal force when rotating.
2. This design made it possible to substantially reduce the height of the valve head, a part whichprotrudes inside the rim towards the insert. This creates another important advantage, which allows the insert to fit better into the groove in the rim.
3. Mass! Yes, in fact, the exclusive PTN aluminum valve specific to the inserts is the lightest in the world with a weight of only 4 g. The weight includes a complete valve with all accessories.
